BASELWORLD - the World Watch and Jewellery Show. The World Watch and Jewellery Show will be opening its doors for the 38th time in Basel from March 18 - 25, 2010. Given that the economic setting is still posing challenges, it is all the more important for exhibittors and also the specialist buyers to be able to rely on proven values: it is only in Basel that the "Who's who" of the global watch and jewellery industry all meet up to experience the innovations, new products and trends. Each spring, some 2000 companies from the watch, jewellery and precious-stone industries, together with related sectors, showcase their latest developments and innovations in Basel. The world's most renowned brands display their products exclusively at BASELWORLD.

About 100,000 visitors from the specialist retail and wholesale trade make their way to Basel from all over the world to discover the current trends and view the latest creations from the watch and jewellery sectors. The presentation staged at BASELWORLD is truly unique, providing an opportunity to experience brand worlds at the topmost level.

Whether you wish to further your business contacts over dinner or raise your glasses to a successful day at the show, the atmosphere offered by this international get-together in the heart of the city is unique.

Take the "BASELWORLD Village" shuttle bus from Messeplatz/Exhibition Square

GrandCliff TNT BelCanto Historical movements restored, entirely decorated and then reassembled by the Dubois Dépraz master-watchmakers without any technical modifications, apart from the striking gongs and the regulating organs, which are contemporary. Another artisan from the Vallée de Joux was commissioned to create the presentation box. This cabinet-maker known for his custom-made creations for the region's most prestigious watch companies designed an impressively sized burr walnut presentation box measuring 45 x 32 x 17 cm. This exceptional hand-crafted object was also lined in the Vallée de Joux.
